Mehmet Bağış, who completed his postdoctoral studies at Oxford Brookes University, currently continues his academic career as a faculty member at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
Beginning his academic journey with a multidisciplinary perspective that spans from health sciences to business administration, Mehmet Bağış received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Business at Sakarya University. Embracing a comprehensive approach to scientific research, Bağış stands out with his work particularly in the areas of strategic management, dynamic capabilities, dynamic managerial capabilities, institutions, entrepreneurship, green management, and firm performance. His articles, published in numerous national and international academic journals, along with the project he conducted at Oxford Brookes University supported by the TÜBİTAK 2219 Research Fellowship in 2023, have made significant contributions to the field of strategic management and entrepreneurship.
Having published in numerous international peer-reviewed journals, Bağış's research has appeared in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Knowledge Management, Business Process Management Journal, Business Strategy and Development, Management Research Review, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, Management Decision, Review of Managerial Science, Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy, Journal of Family Business Management, Technology in Society, and Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship.
With an analytical and innovative approach that integrates theory and practice in his scientific research, Bağış offers valuable contributions to both the business world and academia. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy.
